Yes. Create a Free account to start shortening and managing your links. Registration and sign-in are required to create short links; no credit card is needed. Anyone can follow a shared WURL without an account.
Your plan limits the number of active links in your workspace: 100 on Free and 2,000 on Pro. This is not a monthly allowance. Deactivating a link frees an active-link slot and stops that link from redirecting; reactivating it uses a slot again. New accounts and high-volume creation are also subject to daily account and network limits.
You’ll need to free a slot or upgrade before creating or reactivating another link. Reaching the active-link limit doesn’t itself turn off your existing links. Account restrictions and the paid-eligibility rules for custom aliases still apply.

WURL links currently use wurl.us. Customer-owned domains aren’t included in the current plans. A custom WURL alias changes the name after the slash; it doesn’t add your own domain.
Yes. Use your account’s subscription controls to schedule cancellation at the end of your paid period. Paid access continues through that date. Afterward, Free plan limits apply, and custom aliases require renewed paid eligibility.
No. Anyone with a shared WURL can follow it. Destination encryption protects stored data; it doesn’t password-protect the public link. Read our Privacy notice for how we handle links and activity data.
